Nat began his adventures at sea over 25 years ago working as a commercial fisherman on the Gulf of Alaska. There he logged the many hours required to obtain his U.S. Coast Guard Master 100 Ton License. In 1999, he purchased his first sailboat, a classic sloop named Windride, and began sailing in the San Juan Islands. His sailing travels have taken him from the San Juan's to Alaska, through the Bahamas, to Cuba, and along the Pacific Coast of Mexico.
